ROAD TRIP REPORT- We had a great time on our Road Trip to the Midnight Rodeo in Manchester NH last Saturday!

We started off with dinner at the Yard Restaurant at 5PM  followed by a quick drink in the lounge before heading into the club itself. It was great to find out that folks that eat dinner at the Yard not only get 50% off admission but also get priority VIP seating. (Who Knew?) We were escorted into the club first and got to say hi to the line dance instructor (Michelle Jackson) and then grabbed some front tables to accomodate all of our dancers.

The night started with Michelle teaching 3 different dances (My favorite was After Party) before turning it over to the band Fried Cactus. WHAT A BAND! If you ever get a chance to see them don't pass it up, they were phenomenal. The place has two dance floors, the larger one for couples & line dancing and the smaller floor for Swing & Free Style. They had a good sized crowd which gave a high energy feel to the place. The owners were extremely hospitable and went out of their way to make sure we felt welcome.

Just about everyone stayed to closing and we had a really good night dancing, making new friends and kicking up our heels with our old ones doing couples and line dancing in a great club.  I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a fun night of dancing in an all country venue.

Did I mention that we actually got our room in the Best Western for $69 because we were going to the Midnight Rodeo?? How cool is that??
